What is VoIP?

VoIP is Voice over Internet Protocol.

In this technique, the Analog Audio Signals are converted into Digital data and are then transmitted over the internet. In other words, you can use VoIP as a replacement to the conventional Telephone, in order to talk to people across the globe.

There are a number of free VoIP softwares are available on internet, using which you can connect to your friends or relatives anywhere across the Globe.
