Computer Networks are basically of 2-types:
- Client/Server: These kind of networks consist of 2-types of computers. One is called as Client and the other is called Server. Clients are computers sitting on the desks of employees of a company, or in our houses, or in schools and colleges. Servers are more powerful computers and are held in a central location or locations within an organization. Client send a request to the Server, the Server processes that request and sends back the result to the Client.
- Peer to Peer Networks: These kind of networks consists of a number of computers connected to each other but they donot have servers. Files can be shared between computers, and a printer connected to one computer can be accessed by another computer. These kind of networks are easier to setup as compared to Client/Server Networks.
